Demosite 2: John F. Kennedylaan

The John F. Kennedylaan is a dual carriage way right in the centre of the city, just north of the railway station. It has 2x2 lanes separated by a lawn with trees. The length of the track that is available for demonstrations is 1 km with turning points on either side. Within the track there is an easy loop of 2x 500m as shown on the map.

Demo site 2 is suited for experimental vehicles in tests with speeds up to 70 km/hr.
It is allowed to take passengers in a vehicle. However the responsibility and risk for the demonstration is entirely up to the owner of the vehicle.

Demo site 2 is available for demonstrations during the whole day. However, the IV2008 demo chair has the option to assign time slots for the individual demonstrations depending on the number and nature of the demonstrations.

The facilities of Demo site 1 can be additionally booked if you wish a parking place and tent as base for your demonstration.

Directly adjacent to the demo site there will be a facility to give verbal explanations to spectators.
The conference hall is available for a presentation on your demonstration using .ppt or video images. Additional booking is required.

For information on costs and booking please use the ‘Demonstration booking form’ [pdf, 26 kB]. Your booking form needs to be submitted to the Demo chair before 15th March 2008.
